Had the great fortune to be at Fenway Park for the first highlight with my Dad, who said at the time it reminded him of Willie Mays (RIP).
He was mediocre in baseball, & football. That’s why he isn’t in any hall of fame. If he was that good why isn’t he in the hall of fame.
Are you serious? First of all he didn't play long enough in either sport to meet the minimum qualifications to be a Hall of Famer
I can’t believe he isn’t in the hall of fame for football & baseball & no one tell me ohh he didn’t play enough seasons in both sports BFS! (BULLFUCKINGSHIT!) there have been players that don’t have enough seasons but still made it to either hall of fame or
Bo knew everything. GOAT of all athletes. A physical freak and could have succeeded in any sport. The Bengals are still cursed for the tackle that injured that hip :/
Joe cool is a dawg for this commercial lol
This man hit an INSIDE THE PARK HOME RUN ! Do you know how FAST you gotta be to accomplish that feat ? This man ran the 40 in 4.1 seconds. I ran a 4.3 🤷🏾♂️ And that’s slo compared to BO !
Bo knows steroids
Best commercial of all time.
Bo was almost 20 during his freshman season so he was way more physically mature than other freshmen
He was physically more mature than everyone in the NFL too lol
You will never arm tackle guys like Bo !!! Usually it might take 2 guys , one up high & one down low !!! The first guy going in on him , should go low & the second in takes high !!!
Everyonce & A while God puts something else in front of Us to REMIND US OF HIS GLORY . BO JACKSON WAS SUCH
Bo knows diddly squat....
It is…I know I’m biased but I still think Joe Montana is the best QB of all time, that was when they actually played football, not like this pussy ass shit they play now, FUCK Tom Brady, that pussy couldn’t hold Montana’s jockstrap
He went full Thanos with em
Mic drop by Cool Joe 😎
I had no idea Bo played for the angels in 94 for some reason I thought he hung it up after the 93 season in Chicago 🤯
He has 5 rings. What did Joe Montana accomplish? What does each ring show?
4 Super Bowl titles w 49ers and 1 NCAA title w Notre Dame
Happy Birthday Wayne Gretzky! > 0:33 - NO!
If he hadn't got hurt, and had played football full time he leaves Emmit Smith and Barry Sanders in the dust.
This and the Kaiser Permanante commercial with the little boy are my favorite commercials ever.
Bo can barely move his hip. Wish he never got hurt man.
Miss his talent
Always loved Gretzky’s response but John McEnroe’s quizzical one sets it up beautifully.
I'll take 5 rings and GOAT status over a Heisman.. And yes, Joe is the GOAT. Brady played over half his career in a QB/offense friendly league that allowed him to extend his career. Brady could easily (and should) have two more SB losses.. Those losses are far more probable (SEA ATL) than the NYG SB losses.. That would put Brady at 5-5.. Better than LBJ, but not by much.. Point is.. Real GOATs don't lose the big game/series. They play their best. Which is Joe and MJ. 10-0 collectively in the big game/series.. 9 (!!!!) Finals/SB MVPs... No doubt... Brady wasn't even the SB MVPs in either of the SEA or ATL SBs... The only time Joe didnt get SB MVP was because Jerry went OFF.. 11 catches 200+ yards and a TD.. Huge numbers today let alone damn near 40 years ago.
Greatest athlete of all time?: Tie: Bo Jackson/Michael Jordan. Period.
What an electric player he was. One of the greats.
Absolutely the greatest running back I have ever seen even that was only for a brief moment. The GOAT ✌️out NATION
This was epic.
Bo is still the only person ever to play in Pro Bowl & All Star game……Crazier, he did it in the same year.
Why does Joe have 5 rings?? He only won 2 super bowls. I love him but what is the fifth ring??
In College Football, when a team wins the National Championship the players get a ring. Much like how NFL players do when they win a Super Bowl (you can look up Georgia's 2021/2022 rings or Alabama's 2020 rings for examples). Anyways, for Joe Montana he won the National Championship back in 1977 when he was the starting QB for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Since these guys are displaying Heisman Trophy poses, a college feat, Joe Montana displays his National Championship ring, an even higher college feat. And NFL rings of course. Though I notice you said Montana only has two NFL rings which is a bit incorrect. He has four Super Bowl Rings as the 49ers starter QB. Hope this helps.
Joe Montana straight savage
Bo was a modern day Jim Brown
This shit makes me wanna cry, so good. RAIDERS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Today, November 6, 2023, Bo's guitar playing at 0:46 would be considered GODLY talent & be analyzed by how he got those guitar sounds. 😂🤣 Back then when this commercial first aired, no record company would dare to touch him.
I love the fact that when Bo Jackson decided to try baseball, he joined the White Sox, not the Cubs!

They couldn't get Greg Lemond for this commercial
Bo Jackson ran a 100 yd dash in 9.54 seconds at Auburn; his 40 yd dash at the NFL combines was at 4.12 seconds, bench press 225 lbs at 41 reps, and bench press 450 pounds. He had a 40.5" vertical leap. He was a 6'1" 230 pound freak of nature. He even snapped a baseball bat; George Brett called Bo Jackson a superhuman
This man was one of the main reasons I became a Raiders fan. Great person. I can only imagine the records he would have shattered if his career wasn't cut short.
This has been stuck in my head for awhile. Glad I finally found it.
Jim Abbott pride of Flint Mi. I always thought Deon was showing off but Bo was just a natural beast.
Bo knows your secrets
Iusacell and Nextel
I had behind the plate seats at Toronto's Skydome in the late 80's during a pre-season game between the Royals and Jays and saw Bo hit a ball into the upper deck at the dome about 10 feet foul....with only one hand on the bat. It was the longest "check swing" foul ever.
His injury costs the raiders at least 2 super bowls
What a great video…..how freaking cool does Mattingly seem lol not even a yanks Fan either
Cool Joe drops the high Joker for the win!!!!
To hear Bo tell the story of when he felt his hip "pop" still saddens me all these years later. He was truly on his way to being the best pro athlete that ever lived!
The greatest athlete of any sport in history these videos dont do him justice you just had to be there in person and feel the electricity that was in the atmosphere where ever he was present it was simply amazing idont talk about it much because you just wont believe it being from Alabaster Al down the road from Mc Adory were he played sports at
